Description
The internal system WWE uses to prepare its video for every platform. It transcodes with on-premise AWS Elemental Server and delivers to WWE.com, WWE Network, YouTube and partners such as Peacock and Sony LIV.
At its core is an MDM (master data management) with master records: each platform inherits metadata from the master and overrides it to meet its own requirements.
Role
At intive, I built the system and later became its tech lead: services in Laravel, NestJS and Go, a Vue frontend, Beanstalkd queues and CI/CD with GitLab.
Results
- A single source of metadata for every delivery platform.
- Automated delivery to both WWE-owned and third-party services.
