Description

Tigo Money is Millicom/TIGO's mobile wallet. Its backend is a Phalcon REST API that sits between the mobile apps and each carrier's SOAP middleware.

Role

At Globant, I started as a backend developer and became the team's tech lead.

Results

• Rolled out in Honduras, Guatemala and Bolivia.
• Supported El Salvador and Tanzania, where the service was already live.
• One API in front of a different integration in each country.
